epic4 software package provides epic irc client, version 4, you can install in your Ubuntu 16.04 LTS (Xenial Xerus) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install epic4
epic4 is installed in your system.
Make ensure the epic4 package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep epic4 *
You will get with epic4 package name, version, architecture and description in a table
